The Comforter Ministry   The Comforter Ministry serves as both a fellowship and spiritual growth opportunity in the congregation as well as a way to reach out and share God’s love with people near and far.  The Comforter Ministry is a ministry within the Moravian Church developed and begun by Rev. Sharon M. Benson.  The group meets weekly at CCC to make blankets for people in need of the Holy Spirit’s comfort.  The Comforter Makers also participate in a Bible Study written particularly for the Comforter Ministry.  Everyone is welcome to join us!   Pancake Breakfasts      From September through April we have pancake breakfasts once a month open to the church and the community.  Although this event is free, donations are welcome in order to help support the general maintenance fund.   Snack ‘N Yak      Each week following our service we have Snak & Yak, which allows us the opportunity to relax and enjoy good food and company.   Community Garden              By utilizing leftover seeds and vegetable plants from our homes, we have been able to grow a vegetable garden!  The produce will be available to the congregation and the community.  We will also donate much of the produce to CROSS.       Drama Team   CCC has a wonderful drama ministry which offers three to four dramas a year during worship time.  We find that God’s Word can be understood in new and exciting ways when presented through drama.  Plus, we have a lot of fun rehearsing!  We are always looking for actors to join our Drama Team!     Family Events   We enjoy getting together for a number of family events throughout the year as a way not only to have fun but also to build each other in the family of God.  This past year we have had regular game nights where we play cards or board games; bike trips on local trails; and outings to ball games in the Cities.   Parades   Participating in parades is a great way to unite as a congregation in a fun environment, show off our skills at float decorating, and share our church with others.   This year we are participating in the Pierre Bottineau Parade in Maple Grove and the Lion’s Roar Parade in Osseo.         Flower Ministry The Flower Ministry helps glorify God’s altar with the beauty of flowers.    Church Softball Team   CCC has a summer softball team that plays Sunday evenings from May to July at Maple Grove Junior High.   Players with any level of experience and cheerleaders are always encouraged and welcomed!           Autumn Festival   Every year we put on an Autumn Festival to reach out to our community, help CCC become more visible in the community, and create opportunities to serve and interact among our church family.  This year our festival is on September 19 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm  Indoor and outdoor space is available for vendor participation, along with craft sales, a flea market, farm produce, products and services, baked goods, refreshments, and children’s activities.
