Mission
Concert
Once again,
plans are underway for our an-nual mission concert, so get out your calendar and set aside the evening of Saturday, May 1st. You can plan to come starting at 5:30 and have a light dinner (grilled sandwiches)
and then stay for the entertainment which starts at 6:30. Various performers will be praising God with their music and voices,
and we will be raising money to support our mission trip to Mississippi to continue the rebuilding after the destruction from
hurricane Katrina.
If
you are interested in performing at the con-cert please fill out a “Call for Acts” form which can be found under
Reach Out on the information kiosk in the Activity room. If you are willing to help with the various tasks that go along with
the show please indicate that on the sign-up sheet on the same kiosk.
Year after year everyone who shows up is blessed beyond measure. As usual, we plan to
have some surprises for the evening. Don’t hear about them on Sunday, experience them in person. See you there!

/ Craft day
Do
you have scrapbooking or crafts you would like to catch up on? If so, please join us Friday, April 23rd from 5:00 to 11:00
pm at Archiver’s in Coon Rapids. Please contact Pastor Jenny or Cathy Holtmeier for more details.
New Praise Team
We are calling for people to serve on our new Praise Team
beginning in May! Depending on the number interested, we will rotate so that members are not performing every Sun-day. There
will be one practice per week. Please contact Felicia Enns if you are interested!!
In The Hospital or Nursing Home?
If you are admitted to a hospital, be sure to call Pastor Jenny or have someone call
her. Hospitals cannot notify churches that you have been admitted. Even if the stay in the hospital is short, Pastor Jenny
would like to come and visit you.

ALL SPRING HOUSECLEANERS!
Plans
for a “White Elephant” sale are underway
at Christ’s Community Thurs. & Fri., May 6 – 7
(A “white-elephant” includes everything except clothes!)
What
better time to “spring into action” and pack up those items that you don’t use or no longer need. That means
household items of all kinds, personal items such as jewelry, games, toys, furniture, gardening, sports, pictures, books,
holiday items, craft supplies, you name it—just no clothes!
This sale
has the potential, with your help, of not only being a successful fundraiser for our church, but could also provide just that
perfect item someone is thrilled to find!
You can start bringing items you
wish to contribute as soon as you have them ready after Easter. More information will be forthcoming. If you would like to
