Frequently Asked Questions

1. Who will feel welcome at Christ's Community Church?
You'll find people of all age groups when you worship with us. We are intentionally multi-generational because we believe that is God's intention. You'll also find people from a wide variety of social and economic levels at our church. We're pretty casual, but we're open-minded enough to allow people to "dress up" if they want to! There's a special message for children in worship each week, and a program they can attend during the sermon. We offer an adult-staffed nursery for infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings.

2. What happens during a worship service?
We aim to begin our worship at 10:00 AM, with a welcome and announcements. We shake hands with each other during that time because we have all felt like strangers, and want everyone to feel welcome. We really enjoy singing to God, and use both contemporary and traditional songs to do so. Sometimes a choir or individual will sing a special song. We receive an offering as part of worship, and you'll have the opportunity to give to God, if you so choose. We take time to share our prayer needs with each other, and pray together. Some passages from the Bible will be read aloud, and a message will be shared based on those words. After worship we have Snak & Yak, an unstructured time for light refreshments and conversation. It's the perfect way to end our time together.

3. When do we worship?
On Sunday morning, at 10:00 AM. Worship usually lasts about an hour. You are also welcome to for a few minutes after worship is over for Snak & Yak. We believe in building community, and spending time over a cup of coffee after worship is a great way to get to know others.

4. Where are you located?
We are in Maple Grove, at the corner of County Road 30 and Elm Creek Parkway. Check out the map to see where we are.
From Route 94 you can find us by exiting at County Road 30, and going east on CR 30 for about 2 miles. We will be on the left, you'll see our sign. Our address and other info is:

5. Why should I come to Christ's Community Church?
The best reason to come is because you want more of God. You may not word it that way, but that's the heart of it. You may consider coming because you want to be part of an authentic Christian Community where you can join others who are trying to follow Christ. Come because you want something real and true. Come because you are ready to admit you don't have all the answers, ready to explore the Christian way.
