UPCOMING EVENTS

Set Apart: -March 5th

Set Apart, a faith filled conference for women, offers a time for women to listen, learn, connect, and be encouraged in their faith. A dynamic array of speakers, workshops, worship and conversation will refresh your faith and your heart. This year’s theme is John 15:4: Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear
fruit unless you remain in me. Alicia Williamson Garcia and Sheila Walsh will be sharing their personal stories of hope and encouragement, and Mark Schultz will be providing a special concert on Friday, March 5th.

The conference is Fri. & Sat., March 5-6, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, at Northwestern College in St. Paul. Ticket prices are $50 for one day or $85 for both days. Early bird discounts are available online at www.nwc.edu/setapart. Please contact Pastor Jenny if interested.

Moravian Women’s Tea Party–March 21st

Come join Kris James of The Artful Brew as she shares with us an afternoon Tea Party, inspiring us to appreciate all that tea has to offer and the rituals surrounding it. She will provide us with a special menu of Tea, Savories, and Sweets, and we will provide the fellowship! So please invite your mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, aunts, nieces, and friends! We are also looking for volunteers to decorate tables with a theme of your choice. It is so fun to see the unique and beautiful table decorations creative women can come up with! This event is also a wonderful opportunity for us to collect food items for CROSS! Don’t miss this fun event!!

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Almost Adults—Feb. 28th

We are excited to announce a new small group offering here at CCC! This Young Adult group will meet one Sunday a month to learn about God, explore how our faith is applied in today’s world, and share in fellowship with other Christians. Topics we will explore are from a Kay Arthur Bible Study Series and include “Loving God & Loving Others (Money & Possessions)” and “Leading a Life of True Worship.” There is no specific age limit, so if you think of yourself as a young or “almost” adult, please come join us!

The first meeting will be February 28th at 12:00 pm at the church, and lunch will be provided. Children are welcome! We will be looking over the Bible Study topic books we will be using and enjoying a time of fellowship. Please contact Casey Langseth or Pastor Jenny with any questions.
