Reaching out to those around us is important at Christ's Community Church.

Prison Ministry
Our outreach to the Hennepin County Correctional Facility (Workhouse) in Plymouth has been a blessing to Christ’s Community Church. Our team leads worship with the inmates approximately 4 times each year- we cover that stray 5th Sunday. That keeps the rotation for the larger church groups and allows us to participate. We lead group singing, present a message and take prayer requests from the inmates. It is a Spirit filled, amazing witness to the power of God’s love! There is always room for you- come join us!
Christmas Child
We collaborate with Samaritan's Purse by packing shoe boxes for Christmas gifts for disadvantage children.
Simpson Shelter
Simpson Shelter is a local organization whose mission is “To house, support and advocate for people experiencing homelessness (www.simpsonhousing.org). At Christ’s Community Church, we help Simpson Shelter fulfill a variety of needs including making sandwiches for the shelter’s guests and preparing Birthday Bags to help celebrate a child’s birthday.
Carry the Cross
This is a yearly event, held on Good Friday, which allows us the opportunity to join other community churches in the remembrance of Christ’s crucifixion by carrying a cross to the Maple Grove Arboretum. This is a powerful witness to the community, an opportunity to show our unity with other Christians, and a moving experience that will challenge your faith and love for Christ.
Salvation Army Bell Ringing
During the Holiday season, our congregation provides volunteers to staff the red kettle campaign for the Salvation Army. This is truly a great Christmas season experience!

Mission Concert
The Mission Concert has entertained and inspired us for a number of years! This is a yearly event in which members of the community and congregation come together to celebrate the joy of music, either by performing in the concert, or celebrating in the audience. This event helps us raise money for our missionary needs.
Highway Clean-Up
CCC joined the program in 2007. We go out at least twice a year. This is a "feel good" kind of project, where we can see how much better it looks when we are done. We also have lots of fun! And we believe that it sets a great example for everybody that sees us out there.
Habitat for Humanity
“Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends” (Mission Statement, www.habitat.org). Christ’s Community Church had the opportunity to serve this year by working on a building project in Ramsey, MN.
