We are delighted that you are considering Christ’s Community Church for your marriage ceremony! The following information is presented to help ensure your rehearsal and wedding day will go smoothly and stress-free. It is your responsibility to communicate all information to your wedding party, family members, and service providers.
We encourage you to carefully read through all the following guidelines. Again we thank you for choosing Christ’s Community Church. We pray your experience here will prove to be a wonderful time of celebration and joy.

Reservations: Reservations for weddings must be made at least (30) days in advance.

Building Use:

  1. A Building Use Contract must be completed and submitted to the church office at least (30) days in advance of the event.
  2. All Non-Members & Members booking space will pay a key deposit of $25.00. The deposit will be returned once the key is returned.
  3. The sound system will only be operated by a trained and qualified person approved by the church.
  4. The responsible party and a representative of Christ’s Community Church (CCC) should visit the area to be used to inspect the space for any problems that may exist.
  5. All groups or individuals who use any part(s) of the facility shall park only in proper parking spaces.
  6. A representative of the wedding party will be responsible for seeing that all persons confine themselves to their assigned areas.
  7. The classrooms, library or nursery can be used as dressing rooms for the bridal party.
  8. Smoking is not permitted in the building at any time.
  9. Alcoholic beverages must not be brought into or served in the building or on the church grounds.
  10. Rice, birdseed or confetti are not to be thrown inside or outside the building.
  11. The church building will be open for the wedding party and deliveries for the day of the ceremony, unless other arrangements are made with the Pastor. The Guest should see to it that the area is picked up and the trash is properly bagged. The facility should be left in the same condition in which it was found.


Premarital Counseling: We are interested in you individually and as a couple and would like to talk with you about the meaning of Christian marriage, plans for your wedding, and about your future. We require each couple to have Premarital Counseling from the Pastor who will officiate the wedding. If our Pastor is used, 4 hours of counseling is required.

Pastor: No fee is charged by our Pastor. An honorarium is typically offered in an amount of the couple’s choosing. Typically, the honorarium is between $350.00-$550.

Visiting Pastor: If a visiting pastor is to conduct the ceremony, prior approval must be obtained from CCC’s Pastor.

Organist: A Church Organist/Pianist is available to play for Weddings for a fee of $250.00. A conference should be scheduled with the Organist to determine what music should be included. If a guest organist it to play for the service, the church office is to be notified.

The Marriage License and Fees: The marriage license should be given to the pastor on the day of the wedding. All fees and gratuities should be placed in individual envelopes and dropped off in the church office during the week before the wedding.

The Bulletin: A wedding bulletin is optional. All printed bulletins will be prepared by the wedding party and reproduced by a printer, unless other arrangements are made with the Pastor. If a couple desires information on the wedding ceremony to prepare the bulletin, they should discuss this with the Pastor during a counseling session.

The Sanctuary: The Sanctuary seats approximately 150 people.

Decorations: No nails, tacks, or screws are to be inserted in any part of the building or furnishings. No artificial platforms or structures are to be used.

Florists: The wedding party is responsible for any property damage or cleaning expenses incurred by the use of candles and other materials provided by the florist. It is the responsibility of the wedding party to insure that any floral arrangements that are to be left for the church be put in an appropriate location.

Catering: Catering services must be provided by the persons holding the reception. The wedding party will be responsible for the general cleanliness of the spaced used.

Clean-up and Lock-up: At the end of the event, the wedding party is responsible for personal item clean-up and lock-up of church property. Please make sure that any furniture moved is returned to its original position. The area used needs to be picked up and trash properly bagged. The facility should be left in the same condition in which it was found.
